–My Procedure–
The argument has started and I am losing.
I get defensive.
I get hostile.
I withdraw and retreat with negative and resentful emotions.
I say to myself, they are wrong, I’m the best and they suck.
Then I hypothetically say to myself, WHAT IF I was wrong? WHAT IF I’m the problem? WHAT IF I’m the dumb one?
The solution to the argument usually reveals itself at this point.
BLAME YOURSELF. Reflect. Be loving.
